Thomas Robert Samuels, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Robert Samuels, Jr., age 68, of Big Spring, KY, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Breckinridge Health Care in Hardinsburg, KY. He was born February 18, 1950, the son of Thomas Robert, Sr. and Beatrice McNally Samuels.

Mr. Samuels was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Compton Samuels; a step son, Jerry Knott; and a sister, Doris Burbridge. He is survived by four children, Tommy Samuels, Shelly Samuels, both of Big Spring, KY, Sonja Bullock, Muldraugh, KY, and Tammy Sosh, Hardinsburg, KY; five step children, Sharon Heavrin, Pam Embry, both of Muldraugh, KY, Greg Knott, West Point, KY, Wayne Gerkey, Vine Grove, KY, and James Knott, Greenville, SC; a brother, Terry Samuels, Muldraugh, KY; a nephew, Robert Burbridge, Muldraugh, KY; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Robin Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Garnettsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Thursday, and after 9:00 AM on Friday.
