Adrian Joseph "Joey" Peebles

     Mr. Adrian Joseph Peebles, better know as “A.J.” or “Joey” to family, age 30, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, in Louisville, KY.  He was a member of the 2009 Meade County High School graduating class, where he was a member of the track team and played percussion in band.  Joey had many hobbies, especially fishing, cooking, reading and playing basketball.  He was a natural born musician and was well known at the West Point Music Ranch, where he performed often as a child.

     Joey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cathie Peebles; two great grandmothers, Ruth Hiestand and Lena Lobb; and his great aunt, Belinda Hagan.  He is survived by his young son; his mother, Robin Black; his father, Scott Peebles; three brothers, Lane Nevitt, Devon House and Scotty Peebles; his grandfather, Edward Black, Jr.; his great aunt, Debbi Campbell; and five cousins, Rick Lewis, Tristan Lewis, Bridgett Asberry, Kenny Scott and Kevin Shaughnessy.

     Funeral services will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Mullins officiating.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Friday.
