Mrs. Alice Juanita Bailey, age 83, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY. Alice was born on October 3, 1941, the daughter of George Lee and Myrtle Marylee (Eaves) Elliott. Alice had a deep love for animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Thomas Thorpe; and her second husband, James Bailey. She is survived by her two children, Kelly (Michael) Joseph and Thomas (Athena) Thorpe; four grandchildren, Derek Thorpe, Justin Thorpe, Emery DeTray and Ashley DeTray; six great grandchildren, Zoie, Emery, Deven, Madilyne, Gavin and Hunter; and her brother, Herman Elliott.

In honoring Alice’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A private graveside service will be held at Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott, AZ, at a later date. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
