Allen Joseph Conrad

Mr. Allen Joseph Conrad, age 66, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.  Allen was born March 19, 1957, the son of Armen Stanley and Adeline Frances (Feuling) Conrad.  He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and messing with cars.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Janet Conrad; and his father-in-law, Donald Lear.  He is survived by two sons, Donnie Conrad and his wife, Jennifer, and Joey Conrad; three grandchildren, Landen, Jamie, and Logan Conrad; two brothers, Ronnie and Jimmy Conrad; four sisters, Linda Thornhill, Barb Thornson, Darlene Conrad, and Kathy Fenske; his mother-in-law, Sara Lear; his brother-in-law, Thomas Lear; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Garry Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Shop with a Hero, or to the Meade County Angel Tree Ministry.
