Ms. Anita Louise (Logsdon) Troutman, age 77, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at her grandson’s residence in Georgetown, KY. Anita was born December 26, 1943, the daughter of Charles Benjamin and Elsie Mae (Bassett) Logsdon. She was a very active member of the Brandenburg Women of the Moose. Anita had a very big heart.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kenneth Dale Stewart; her brother, John Logsdon; and her sister, Rose Betlej. She is survived by three children, William (Billy) Joe Stewart, Donna Sue McConnell, and April Marie (Kevin) Hardin; eight grandchildren, Timothy Stewart, David (Morgana) McConnell, Ray Stewart, Amy Stewart, Steven Allen, Kristi Brumley, Ricky Brown and Benjamin Brown; several great grandchildren; eight brothers, Charles (Sue) Logsdon, Joe Bill Logsdon, Mike Logsdon, Frank (Jane) Logsdon, Jimmy Logsdon, Richard Logsdon, Sonny (Sherri) Logsdon and Larry Logsdon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday. Brandenburg Women of the Moose will hold a vigil service at 6:30 PM on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
