Betty Lois Bishoff, age 86, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Tristar Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
Ms. Bishoff was a member of the Weldon Christian Church, a retired cook with VA Hospital, Ft. Knox and she loved spending time with her family.
She was born on July 12, 1934 in Brandenburg, KY, daughter of the late Alpha “Alfie” Buren Bishoff and Zula Jupin Bishoff. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Bishoff, Nina Bishoff Allen, Marilyn Bishoff Finch and Carolynn Bishoff and her great granddaughter, Megan Lorraine Haynes.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Bishoff Powell (Larry); her granddaughters, Heidi Powell Haynes (Tommy) and Tara Powell Benham (Kelly), all of Brandenburg; her great grandchildren, Tyler Houston Haynes, Levi Andrew Benham, Madalyn “Madie” McKenzie Benham and Brody Neil Benham. Other survivors are her sisters, Jeannette Bishoff Burba, of Louisville, Alma Bishoff Lambert, of Radcliff, Shirley Bishoff Powell and Annetta Bishoff Mangram (Lester), both of Brandenburg, and a host of special nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life, for Betty, will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Hager Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the ceremony will be private with ONLY immediate family in attendance. The service will be live streamed on the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 2:00 PM.
