Billie Irene "Betty" (Neice) Cobbler

     Mrs. Billie Irene “Betty” Cobbler, age 71, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her residence.  In her younger days, Betty enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola and Betty Boop memorabilia.  Betty served as a CNA for many years.  She was very passionate, loving and cared for many during her career.  She loved camping, dancing, and listening to gospel music performed by Elvis and Johnny Cash.   Her proudest accomplishment was being a Grandma.  She loved her entire family dearly, but her grandchildren were truly the apple of her eye.

     Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George Cobbler; her parents, Alonzo and Mollie Neice; three grandchildren, Tommy, Baby Jackie and Kain Clarkson; and her sister, Louise Lawson.  She is survived by three children, Elizabeth Schornack and her husband, Michael, Treva Richards and her husband, John, and Woodrow Bryant III and his wife, Venessa; 10 grandchildren, Lori, John Ray, Ashley, Tiffany, John Lewis, Taylor, Sean, Amber N., Amber Grace and Kylie; 11 great grandchildren, Peyton, Trey, Miles, Layla, Thomas, Eva, Maddisyn, Eleanor, McKenna, Mason, Cayden and Zachary; two sisters, Barbara Mathis and Judy Lawrence; and her brother, Eugene Neice.

     Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association online at http://www.alz.org.
