Brian Lee Gilroy

     Mr. Brian Lee Gilroy, age 68, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his residence.  Brian enjoyed the outdoors and loved to work with his hands.  He was a master woodworker and always raised beautiful orchids in his garden.  Although he was a “workaholic” and really enjoyed working, Brian had many other hobbies, and especially enjoyed bowling.

     Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Richard Samson.  He is survived by two children, Mindy Hutchison and her husband, Nick, and Brian Gilroy; five grandchildren, Blake (Amber Smith) Reesor, Clayton Reesor, Adalyn Hutchison, Haley Hutchison, and Owen Hutchison; his great granddaughter, Everlee Reesor; his former spouse, Gail Fraley; and five siblings, Sue Hilwig, Mike Gilroy, Dawn Borden, Julie Stewart and Rick Samson.

     A remembrance of Brian’s life by family and friends, will take place at 7:30 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Public visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.
