Carlos Michael "Mike" Cox

     Mr. Carlos Michael “Mike” Cox, age 64, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.  Mike was born, August 8, 1956, the son of Clifford and Mary Liza Cox.  He loved woodworking, playing guitar, and just tinkering in his garage.  Mike truly had a servant’s heart and would do anything for anyone in need.

     Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sheila Helton.  He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Cox; two children, Jason Michael Cox and his wife, Raschelle and Jennifer Nicole Skaggs and her husband, Todd; four grandchildren, Blaine Matthews and Michaela Ann Cox, Elizabeth Danielle Goff and Katelyn Renee Skaggs; two brothers, Manuel Cox and his wife, Brenda and Christopher Carter; his step father, Paul “Pappy” Carter; a special family friend, Faye Sullivan and her husband, Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Funeral Services will be held privately for Mike’s immediate family only, due to capacity restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Public visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.
