Carol Sue Lyons

Mrs. Carol Sue Lyons, age 80, of Muldraugh, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.  Mrs. Lyons always had an interest in technology.  She taught herself how to build computers from scratch.  She was very fond of all animals, but especially her horses that she bred for many years.   She also liked food.  She spent her most precious time enjoying meals with her family.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, CSM (Ret.) Eugene Thomas Lyons; and her brother, Robert Ray.  She is survived by her granddaughter, April Irene Lyons Buckland and her husband, John; three great grandchildren, Honey, Skye and Rain Buckland; her great-great grandson, Waylen Miller; her son, Wells Richard Lyons; her nephew, Robert Ray, Jr.; and her best friend of 45 years, Lynne Yvonne Hall.

In honoring Carol’s wishes, her family has chosen cremation.  Interment will be held at 1:30 PM on September 26, 2022, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to PINS in Meade County.
