Caroline Louise (Crowder) Houk

Mrs. Caroline Louise Houk, age 76, of Ekron KY, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Elizabethtown.  She was born November 9, 1945, the daughter of James and Charlotte (Seng) Crowder.  Caroline had many interests, but especially loved creating masterful quilts.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, James Crowder.  She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ernie Houk; two daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Stivers and Deborah (James) Key; four grandchildren, Katie (Tanner) Wilson, Shelby Phelps, Jacob (Kiley) Key and Rachel Key; her sister, Angela (Doug) Megginson; her sister-in-law, Beth Crowder; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. David Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
