Charles Frederick Franz

       Mr. Charles Frederick Franz, age 88, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Mr. Franz was retired from the United States Air Force.  He was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel, as well as a Deacon and longtime member of Rock Haven Baptist Church.

       Mr. Franz was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma Alicia Franz; his parents, Charles Thomas and Malinda Fox Franz; his daughter, Jerri Davis; his brother, William Franz; and his sister, Faith Beeler.  He is survived by his son, John Franz and his wife, Ivy; three grandchildren, Charles Franz and his wife, Amy Hocraffer, Leslie Anne miller and her husband, Neal, William Gassman and his wife, Jennifer; two great grandchildren, Connor Franz and John Miller, two sisters, Hope Ready and Joy Machal; and his brother, Donald Franz.

       Funeral Services will be privately held for Mr. Franz’s immediate family only due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions.  Burial, with full military honors, will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.  Public visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.
