Damian Nithanial Hardin

Damian Nithanial Hardin, age 22, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Damian was always happy and very easy going with an especially sweet soul.   He was a proud 2020 graduate of Breckinridge County High School.  Damian especially loved frogs, Puff the Magic Dragon and bright lights.  He loved to be around people, but also enjoyed having his own space.

Damian was preceded in death by his grandfather, Patrick Hardin, Sr.; his great grandfather, Charlie Nelson; and his great grandmother, Natie Shaw.  He is survived by his father, John (Shameka) Hardin; his mother, Shannon Thomas; six siblings, Warren Hardin, Taylor Decker, Phoenix Hardin, John “J.J.” Hardin, Jr., Aliciana Hardin and Luka Hardin; his grandmothers, Betty Shaw and Vickey Spurlock; his great grandmother, Patty Nelson; four uncles, Patrick (Annmarie) Hardin, Robert (Kala) Hardin, Jeffrey Ennis and Christopher Brown; two aunts, Suemaryl Allen-Beard and Schard Kelly; four great aunts, Vicki Bounty, Theresa Hardin, Mary Shaw and Helen Shaw; three great uncles, Billy Shaw, Thomas Vaughn and Mike Hardin; and six cousins, LaShowna, Demitri, Dakota, Kamrin and Toby Hardin, and Kendra Glisson.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Travis Thomason officiating.  Burial will follow in Raymond Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
