David Earl Alexander

Mr. David Earl Alexander, age 59, of Meade County, KY, passed away on March 25, 2025, in Charlestown, IN. David was born on July 22, 1965, the son of James Earl and Edna Earl (Ditto) Alexander.

David was a longtime truck driver and an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, SGT James Sherrill.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie Alexander; his son, David Alexander, Jr.; four sisters, Beatrice Sherrill, Karen Alexander, Becky McKnight and Donna Alexander Watson; two brothers, Ron Alexander and Will Alexander; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at 6:00 PM, on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Tammy Clarkson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service. The family kindly requests that all visitors wear UK gear, to honor David’s love for the Kentucky Wildcats. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hager Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
