Dewey Allen Hagy

Mr. Dewey Allen Hagy, age 85, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Brandenburg Nursing & Rehabilitation. Mr. Hagy was born in Tazewell, West Virginia, the son of Edward Kelly and Margie Ann (Matthews) Hagy. Dewey was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for woodworking.

Dewey was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Ann Hagy. He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Yates, Bonnie Denton and Tracey Carrillo; one son, Dewey Anthony Hagy; seven grandchildren, Shawn Holesapple, Justin Rule, Brandy Waters, Corey Hubbard, Johnathon Denton, Chase Denton and Teresa Hagy; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Lester; and a special niece, Debbie.

The family has chosen cremation with no services to be held. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
