Douglas Earl McFarland

     Mr. Douglas Earl McFarland, age 64 of Dwale, KY, formerly of Meade County, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his residence.  He was born April 28, 1959, the son of Edward David and Ethel Elizabeth (Benham) McFarland.  Doug was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to fish.

      Doug was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deborah; and two brothers, Danny and Donnie McFarland.  He is survived by four sisters, Linda O’Rear, Voneta (Mike) McGill, Sharon (Bobby) Calabrese, and Janey (Wayne) Peer; as well as, several children, nieces and nephews.

      In honoring Doug’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
