Geneva (Dunlap) Winters

     Mrs. Geneva Winters, age 89, of Union Star, KY, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Harrison Springs in Corydon, IN.  Mrs. Winters was a member of Payneville Baptist Church and loved to dance with the Boot Scootin Grannies. 

      Mrs. Winters was preceded in death by her husband, James Winters; and her dance partner, A.B. Hurn.  She is survived by three daughters, Denise Galloway and her husband, Wayne, McDaniels, KY, LaDonna Raney and her husband, Gary, Union Star, KY, Patricia Hiegel and her husband, Timothy, Hardinsburg, KY; six grandchildren, Roger Henning, Valerie Taul, Jeremy Raney, Derrick Raney, Lauren Bennett and Kristen Dodson; 10 great grandchildren, Lane, Braxton, Cooper, Wyatt, Kendall, Thad, Zeke, Ansley, Cole and Caroline; and her brother, Jesse Dunlap, Madison, IN.

       Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Wilson officiating.  The service will be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society online at https://donate3.cancer.org; or to the Alzheimer’s Association online at https://www.identifyalz.com.
