Glen "Shag" Crawford

Mr. Glen “Shag” Crawford, age 74, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at Baptist Health Louisville.  Glen was born June 19, 1947, the son of Shelby Forrest and Wanda Beulah (Wolfe) Crawford.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Glen was a longtime member of Macedonia Christian Church in Battletown.  He was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed playing golf and woodworking.  His greatest trait was finding deals on anything and everything, especially from Amazon.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Lou Thomas and Anna Dean Bullock.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice Crawford; three sons, Chris (Dena) Crawford, Greg (Lynora) Crawford and Jeff (Nikki) Crawford; and six grandchildren, Mike (Erica), Cameron, Liam, Breandan, Colin, and Jaci Crawford.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jensen Riddle officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will follow at Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
