James Bennett Obituary
Mr. James Ray “Jim” Bennett, age 81, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Bennett was the former owner of Outer Limits Auto Sales and Greenview Auto Sales. He had been a salesman for Cardinal and Commonwealth Dodge and numerous other dealerships in the area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bennett; his parents, Tony and Elizabeth Bennett; a sister, Beulah Lasley; and two brothers, Ike and Kenny Bennett. Mr. Bennett is survived by five children, Vickie (Bernie) Staples, Tony (Tammie) Phelps, Tina (Skip Banister) Price, Becky (Joe Barker) Whelan and Darryl (Melissa) Phelps; Vickie’s Mother, Linda Bennett; a sister, Dorothy Lasley,; a brother, Dave Bennett,; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Public visitation will be held from 12:00 until 4:00 PM Sunday at Hager Funeral Home. Due to health concerns funeral services will be held for immediate family only. The service will be streamed live on the Hager Funeral Home Facebook Page. Expressions of sympathy may be donations to Shop with Cops.
