James Edgar Coghill
Obituary
Mr. James Edgar Coghill, age 78, of Union Star, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. James was born October 11, 1944, the son of Joseph Nimrod and Annie Marie (Pack) Coghill. James was employed as a carpenter at LG&E for 35 years. He had many hobbies but particularly loved woodworking.
James was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeremy Coghill; sister, Kathy Hughes; and a brother, Joe Buck Coghill. He is survived by two sons, Jason Coghill and James Robert Coghill; three grandchildren, Aaliyah, Peyton and Chloe Coghill; and seven siblings, Charlie Coghill, Louise Monchilovich, Merel Wagner, Ester Sipes, Mildred Chambers, Jeanette Penn and Frank Coghill.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
