Mr. James Lester Ferry, age 68, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at the Norton Medical Pavilion in Louisville, KY. Jim was retired from Arch chemical after 31 years of service. He loved kids in general. Jim was very involved in the Brandenburg Little League for a number of years, serving as a coach for 12 of those years, and touching the lives of many in this community. Jim was also an avid University of Kentucky fan.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Eltie Bishop Ferry; a brother, Johnny Ferry; and a sister, Charlotte Chesser. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Pamela Dowell Ferry; three children, James Travis Ferry, Chad Jeremy Ferry and his wife, Jayde, Brandi Knott and her husband, Roy; 10 grandchildren, Brendon Adcock, Jenna, Tyler, Nathan and Tavia Ferry, Ava Knott, Chase and Ryan Allgeier, Stephen and Kelsey Knott; and a sister, Connie Shamblin and her husband, Steve.
Funeral Services will be held privately for Jim’s immediate family due to health concerns. The service will be streamed to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.
