Jimmy Richard Stockton

Mr. Jimmy Richard Stockton, age 77, of Brandenburg, KY, went to his eternal home on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.  Mr. Stockton was born on December 31, 1946, the son of Homer and Zelma (Rich) Stockton, who both preceded him in death. Jimmy was a faithful Christian and practiced his faith as a member of the Highway 60 Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly “Mimi” Stockton; his two children, John Stockton and Jennifer “Gigi” Stockton Brotzge and her husband, Lee; two granddaughters, Channing Stockton and Lacey Bell Stockton; his grandson, Sean Tyler Brotzge; two great grandsons, Dalan Stockton and Jonathan Starling; his brother, Tom Stockton and his wife, Judy; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Preacher Monie Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
