John Robert Yokie

Mr. John Robert Yokie, age 36, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, in Mount Jackson, VA. Mr. Yokie was born on April 7, 1987, the son of Dennis Allen and Mary Lorraine (McCoy) Yokie. 

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne McCoy and John and Betty Yokie; two uncles, George Pulliam and John Yokie; and his great aunt, Shirley Brown. He is survived by his parents, his grandmother, Margaret McCoy; two sisters, Michelle Beeler and her husband, Donny and Trina Flener and her husband, Steve; his brother, Wayne Yokie and his wife, Tina; nine nieces and nephews, Kalysta, Paige, Avery, Emery, Sebastian, Aiden, Jayce, Kinzley and Cayde; his great nephew, Mikey; his fiancé, Mieca Elcontro; his fur baby, Dexter; and many aunts, uncles, great aunts and cousins.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Deacon Greg Beavin officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hager Funeral Home to aid the family with funeral expenses.
