Joyce Parks Obituary

Ms. Joyce Marie Parks, age 64, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY. Ms. Parks was born July 1, 1957, the daughter of Walter Henry and June Rose (Gilbert) Parks. Joyce had many interests that included watching game shows, working puzzles and cooking. Most of all she loved animals especially her dog, Petie.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Shirley Siener, Nancy Barker and Mary Barker; and three brothers, Robert Barker, Gerald Barker and Donald Barker. She is survived by her six biological children, Steven (Marie) Parks, James (Amber) Przeadzki, Erik (Sarah) Holdridge, Markey Parks, Michael Parks and Marie Parks; several grandchildren; a brother, Walter “Butch” (Mary) Parks; her significant other, Peter Claus; and several nieces and nephews.

In honoring Joyce’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
