Joyce Fay "Mom" (Ammons) Sipes

Mrs. Joyce Fay “Mom” Sipes, age 69, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at her residence.  Joyce was born December 26, 1951, the daughter of Joseph Gideon and Evelyn (Goins) Ammons.  She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Bob Ammons; and her sister, Sandy Hilkey.  She is survived by her loving husband, James “Pops” Sipes; three children, Becky Sipes, Nathan Sipes and Adam Sipes and his wife, Tonya; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; four brothers, Ronnie, Denny, Jimmy and Tommy Ammons; and two sisters, Lois and Carolyn Ammons.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Deacon Mike Jones officiating.  Public visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
