Julie Rene (Wardrip) Sutton

Mrs. Julie Rene Sutton, age 50, of Webster, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at her residence.  Julie was born February 12, 1973, the daughter of Billy and Joy (Whelan) Wardrip.  She was a 1991 graduate of Meade County High School and proceeded to obtain her Masters in Elementary Education and Rank I in counseling from Western Kentucky University.  Julie loved kids and had a heart for serving.  She was a teacher in the Meade County School System for 28 years, serving in different schools throughout the years.  She had an adventurous spirit and loved the outdoors.  She enjoyed physical fitness and especially liked to run and hike.  She was a founding member of Radiant Church and loved to fellowship with her fellow women in Women of Worth.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Jason Sutton; her two daughters, Kelsey Rene Kaiser and her husband, Micah, and Lauren Catherine Sutton; her grandson, Truett Maximus Kaiser; her parents, Billy and Joy Wardrip; her sister, Kim Cottrell and her husband, Aron; her two brothers, Chris Wardrip and his wife, Leia, and Bruce Wardrip and his fiancée, Heather McElroy; her nieces and nephews, Sydney, Caleb, Leila, Ryan, Mallory, Maya, Allie and Addison; her father and mother-in-law, Gene and Helen Sutton; her brother-in-law, Greg Sutton and his wife, Janay; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Radiant Church, with Revs. Barrett Howard, Jeff Hackert, and Dina Hackert officiating.  Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Julie Sutton Shoes.
