Kailani Shell Obituary

Kailani Safina Shell, infant daughter of Robert Leon and Nakia Lorine (Stewart) Shell, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Kailani was preceded in death by her grandmother, Levertis Lingard; great grandparents, Mary Helen and William Shell, Lorine and Joe Ernest Stewart, Delcie and Ernest Luney, Florine Watts and Demple Curray; great aunt, Darlene Newby; great uncle, Arnold Stewart; great-great aunt, Edna Luney; and great-great uncle, Leroy Luney.

She is survived by her loving parents; brother, Jamarion Ferguson; grandparents, Wanda Faye (Stewart) and Timmy Murray, Louis Luney, Robert Leon Shell, Sr.; great grandfather, Mason Curry; aunts, Leitha (Shell) Williams and Trevia Murray; uncles, Shawn (Samantha) Stewart and Antonio (Gennifer) Stewart; great aunts, Marilyn, Wilma, Minnie, Eliza, Virginia, Darlene, Kay, Carolyn, Gloria, Theresa, Barbara, Sherry, and Linda; great uncles, Harry, Robert “Bobby”, Terry, Danny, James, Greene, Jake, Lance, William and Raymond; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.
