Mrs. Katherine Lorine Durbin, age 71, of Ekron, KY passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon, IN. She was born September 20, 1949 the daughter of Russell and Mary Wanda (Yates) Kiper.

Mrs. Durbin was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Jake. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Danny Dean Durbin; a son, Stephen Dean Durbin, Ekron, KY; a step-daughter, Cathy Jo Melton, Henderson, KY; two brothers, Bernard Russell Kiper, Ekron, KY and Charles Francis Kiper, Cedar Creek, TX; four grandchildren, Ethan, Nicole, Bethany and Jade; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be privately held for Lorine’s immediate family only due to the Covid-19 mandates issued by the Governor of Kentucky. The service will be streamed live on the Hager Funeral Home Facebook Page beginning at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Burial will be in Calvert Cemetery in McDaniels, KY.
