Kenneth Ralph Fackler

Mr. Kenneth R. Fackler, age 74, of Guston, KY, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Norton Hospital Pavilion, Louisville, KY.  He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and had worked for General Electric, the Brandenburg Telephone Co. and Arch Chemical. Kenny was very good at fixing things and adding his own spin to them. His kids would have a field day trying to figure out what he did.  The family could always count on him for a solution to their problems.  He loved to sit at the computer and get caught up on what was happening in the world.  He also enjoyed his great-grandson, Dawson, who made him laugh and preferred great-grandad over great-grandma.    

Mr. Fackler was preceded in death by his parents, Estill and Nina (Clark) Fackler; and two brothers, Aloysius and Marvin.  He is survived by his wife, Lois (Pike) Fackler; six children, Ellen Lindsey and her husband Bill, Paul Fackler, Guston, KY, Allyson Medley and her husband, Eric, Ekron, KY, Ron Fackler, Todd Fackler, and Terry Fackler, Louisville, KY; a sister, Madeleine Barr; two brothers, Bobby Fackler and David Fackler and his wife Ruthie; four grandchildren, Curt Lindsey and his wife Emily, Craig Lindsey, Erica Medley Board and her husband Austin, and Derrick Medley; and two great-grandchildren, Dawson Lindsey and Braelyn Board.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday from St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at Hager Funeral Home from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Hager Funeral Home, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
