Mrs. Kimberly Lynn Rigot, age 60, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Kim was a member of Southeast Christian Church, where she was very active in the cancer ministry, as well as the widow’s ministry. She proudly served her country as a member of the United States Army. She was very talented in many ways, but especially enjoyed crafting and knitting prayer blankets for others. Her pride and joy was her son Levi, who she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wayne Rigot. She is survived by her son, Levi Rigot; her mother and father, Brenda and Dennis Haugen; three sisters, Kelli (Dave) Minard, Kara (Gary) Baird and Jenny (Jeff) Naylor; her mother-in-law, Sandra Rigot; two aunts, Audrey Gipson and Sondra Maslen; five nieces and nephews, Brandon Burbank, Tyler Baird, Olivia, Gabriel and Evangeline Naylor; and two great nephews, Fallon and Paxton Baird.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Lida Bain officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, at the Woods Chapel Cemetery in Ramsey, IN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, and from 1:30 PM until the time of service on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to Compassion International.
