Kristina Kay (McDonald) Billy

     Mrs. Kristina Kay Billy, age 55, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Norton Women and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Tina loved kids as she demonstrated by becoming a volunteer teaching assistant at James R. Allen.  She was also a member of the Lions Club.

      Tina was preceded in death by her daddy, William R. McDonald, III; her grandparents; two aunts, Andrea and Judy Nicholson; her uncle, Don McDonald and her great uncle, P.J. Hollowell.  She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Sue McDonald; three brothers, David Billy, Jeffrey McDonald and James Patrick (Tina) McDonald; three step brothers, William R. “Bill” (Janet) McDonald, IV, Michael (Laura) McDonald, and David (Tina) McDonald; her uncle, Ronnie Nicholson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

       A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary True officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital; Kosair Charities; or to the American Cancer Society.
