Lafe Miller, Jr.

     Mr. Lafe Miller, Jr., age 91, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin.  Mr. Miller was born February 20, 1931, the son of Lafe and Marie Dorothy (Edrington) Miller.  He was a retired teacher and a long time member of Severns Valley Baptist Church.

      Mr. Miller is survived by his loving wife, Helen Jean Miller; three children, Beverly (Ray) Hicks, Rob (Carol) Miller, and Charlene (Carl) Lemons; six grandchildren, Josh (Sarah) Miller, Ross (Heather) Miller, Kyle (Surbhi) Miller, Melakee (Daniel) Nicholson, Sommer (Karl) Flusche and Micah (Selena) Hicks; and numerous great grandchildren.

      In honoring Mr. Miller’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  A memorial service will be held at Severns Valley Baptist Church at a later date.  Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg has been entrusted with arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to his church.
