Mr. Lindsey Walton Young, age 29, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Ekron, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Lindsey was born June 24, 1993, the son of Linwood and Lisa Lynn Young.  He was a 2011 graduate of Meade County High School where he was the class salutatorian. Lindsey had many interests that included playing video games, fishing, canoeing, walking, kayaking and cooking Indian food.  He was working as a contracted computer programmer for MacDill Air Force Base.

Lindsey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Hope Young; his uncle, Chip Zullinger; and his cousin, Scarlett Shrewsbury.  He is survived by his parents, Linwood and Lisa Young; his brother, Logan Young; his paternal grandparents, Lindsey and Mciva Young; two aunts, Pam Zullinger and Brenda Houston and her husband, David; and five cousins, Sid Zullinger, Zach Zullinger and his wife, Hanna, Cheyenne Shrewsbury and her fiancé, Robert Lemon, and Darrius and Ashlyn Houston.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  A time for people to share memories and celebrate Lindsey’s life will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday. Cremation will follow the service.
