Mr. Lloyd Daniel “Dan” Landrum, age 77, of Payneville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Dan was born on October 3, 1945, in Houston, Texas, the son of T.J. and Agnes Virginia (Curtis) Landrum. Dan was a carpenter by trade and built his business, Lanbri Construction, with his best friend, Buzz Brine. He had many hobbies and interests that included fishing, hunting, camping, throwing horseshoes, and dancing. He loved to cook, especially with his smoker, and was known for making the best spaghetti sauce, baked beans and pinto beans. Above all, Dan loved spending time with his family and was a true family man.
Dan is survived by his wife, Kathy Avery Landrum; daughter, Beccie Kelly and her husband, Shawn and their children, Kyla and Kyrstie Kelly, daughter, Julie Landrum and her children, Bradley and Cody Webster and Matthew and Quinn McGonagle; two great grandchildren, Emmett and Benjamin Webster; six step children, Eric (Kelly) Eldridge, Chadd (Michelle) Eldridge, Kaysee (Ernie) Cureton, Troey Dore, Sami (Jesse) Blevins and Kodi (Julia) Dore; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Killer.
A celebration of Dan’s life, will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 857 Main Street, Fryeburg, ME. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Lung Association.
