Mrs. Lois Jean (Lawson) Dye, age 89, of Sellersburg, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.  Lois was born October 6, 1934, the daughter of William Harvey and Louise (Powell) Lawson.

     Mrs. Dye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Dye; five brothers, Clayton, Gary Dale, Richard Burke, Larry W. and Roger L. Lawson; and her sister, Ramona Benham.  She is survived by five children, Edward (Shirley) Lawson, Debbie Adcock, Kevin (Theresa) Benham, Garlina (Kenny) Flood) and Jocelynn Conklin; two sisters, Charlotte Lawson and Edith Darnall; her brother, James Lawson; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Price officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethel Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
