MAJ Warren Hideo Shiroma

     MAJ (Ret.) Warren Hideo Shiroma, age 85, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Guston, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Vitality Living Springdale.   MAJ Shiroma was born May 13, 1938, the son of Paul Shigeru and Fumiko (Miyahira) Shiroma.  He retired from the United States Army after proudly serving his country in Vietnam.  He was also a member of St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Catholic Church in Payneville, KY.

      MAJ Shiroma was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Victor W. Shiroma.  He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Margaret “Pat” Shiroma; his daughter, Cynthia Lee Shiroma; his grandson, Thomas Warren Shiroma; two brothers, Herbert and Barney Shiroma; and three sisters, Patsy (Hitoshi) Tamura, Grace (Dan Minnick) Shiroma, and Linda (George) Uchima.

      Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 2:30 PM, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY, with Deacon Greg Beavin officiating.
