Margaret Laverne (Foushee) Fackler

      Mrs. Margaret Laverne Fackler, age 89, of Webster, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her son’s residence near Bowling Green.  Mrs. Fackler was born September 21, 1933, the daughter of William Albert and Virginia Francis Mills Foushee.  She was a longtime parishioner at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, where she was a proud member of the church choir.  She was very active in her faith and loved to volunteer her time at the fish fries and any other church function in which she could help.  Mrs. Fackler also loved to play Bingo and was an avid quilter.

      Mrs. Fackler was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Maurice Fackler; and several brothers and sisters.  She is survived by four sons, Pat (Angela) Fackler, Jerry Fackler, Brent (Kathy) Fackler and J.L. (Sherri) Fackler; four grandchildren, Ashley Fackler, Celeste Hardesty, Whitney Mattingly and Jake Fackler; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters, Martina (Jerry) Brown, Theresa (Bill) Knowlton and Jeanette Macy.

       A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, 301 W. High Street, Irvington, KY  40146, with Rev. Michael Abiero officiating.  Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery in Brandenburg.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, and from 8:00 Am until 10:15 Am on Friday.
