Marjorie Louise (Bruner) Lamkin

Mrs. Marjorie Louise Bruner Lamkin, age 93, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon, IN.   Mrs. Lamkin was born October 15, 1928, the daughter of Homer and Idelle (Logsdon) Bruner.       

Mrs. Lamkin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stiles Lamkin; her son, Scotty Lamkin; two sisters, Naomi Wilson and Virginia Embry; and her brother, Robert “Bob” Bruner.  She is survived by two children, James Lamkin and his wife, Mary, and Pat Wilson and her husband, Gregg; her daughter-in-law, Sherry Lamkin; her sister, Shirley Covington; her brother Bennie (Frances) Bruner; five grandchildren Tim Lamkin, Chris Wilson, Jamie Lamkin, Stephanie Wilson Grahn and Britni Eiler Stickle; eleven great grandchildren; ten nieces; and ten nephews.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with Rev. Ben Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass on Wednesday.  Vigil Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening.
