Mark O'Neil Dowell

     Mark O’Neil Dowell, 63, of Brandenburg, formerly of the Garrett Community, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the Norton’s Inpatient Hosparus Unit.

     Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Neil and Carole Carter Dowell; his younger brother, Bryan Michael Dowell; his grandparents, Lewis and Catherine Smith Dowell and Carlton A. and Mary Emma O’Bryan Carter.

     Mark is survived by four siblings, Dianne Lujan, Toby Dowell, Kathea (Kac) Dowell and Cynthia Fackler and her husband Chris; and his beloved partner, Rhonda Melton Allen.

     In honoring Mark’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery in Flaherty, KY.  Hager Funeral home has been entrusted with arrangements.
