Michael Louis Rogers

    Mr. Michael Louis Rogers, age 67, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.  Michael was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church.  He retired from the maintenance shop at Doe Valley in Brandenburg, after many years of service to that community.

    Michael was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Rogers; his step son, Ronald Lee Willis; two brothers, Ronnie and David Rogers; and two sisters, Helen and Brenda Rogers; and his step brother, Lillian "Pete" Banks, Sr.  He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Hultsman, Radcliff, KY; his life companion, Alice Willis, Ekron, KY; his step daughter, Kimberly Gabriel and her husband, Charles, Radcliff, KY; his step son, Calvin Willis, Madisonville, KY; his mother, Mable Rogers, Radcliff, KY; his brother, Tommy Rogers, Ekron, KY; two sisters, Frances Abernathy, Radcliff, KY, Roberta Rogers, Decatur, GA; four grandchildren, Alizabeth Faye Welch and Alicia Ogburn, both of Radcliff, KY, Shay Harris and Rexford Liverman, both of Ekron, KY; two step brothers, Roy Banks and Alvin "Pretty" Banks, both of Ekron, KY; a step sister, Florine Banks, Louisville, KY; two nieces, Martina Martin and Mahogany Sharp; seven nephews, Carl, Lewis, Curtis, Lonnie, Christian, Edward and Craig Rogers; several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family.

    Funeral Services will be held privately for Michael’s immediate family, due to capacity restrictions at this time.  The service will be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  A public visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  Burial will be in Zion Grove Cemetery.
