Patrick was my best friend. In 3 more days it will be a year. I still can't believe he is gone. I really love and miss him so so much. I remember so many great times I had with him at school. I remember the day we first met. I remember that he was so happy to go into the military when he got older. How he dreamed to make the world a better place. I would talk to him until 4a.m or later on the phone talking about our futures and dreams for life. Patrick was my world. He was the love of my life. I will never find anyone better than him because there is no one with a more caring heart. I love you bub.

Patrick was a great kid. I helped coach him in baseball on the Reds while playing at Ramsey field. He had the heart of a lion with a TON of energy and a smile that wouldn't quit. Our prayers are with you and your family. God Bless.

Melissa, Joe, Brandon and Duke +... no words can comfort you. The loss is felt and yet cannot be truly realized. We saw the passion in Patrick for the love of all living things. We witnessed the innocence and modesty of Patrick to participate and be part of events and organizations such as the Animal Refuge Center (ARC) where he cared for those as tender as his soul is. Patrick was the primary guardian for Duke, an alumni of the ARC. Without this adoption and bond, Duke would have surely become a major concern (requiring behavioral medication) for the ARC. I will never forget his comment after his mom and he sat for our three four legged kids... "I would take 4 Tanks (our then 160lb Great Dane/Mastiff) over 1 Cheyenne (a rowdy Lab/Staffordshire + mix rescued from the ARC) ". With a gleam in his eye and gentle compassion for any and all creatures he wanted to care for any and all of them. Patrick, you will be a guardian of those who cannot protect themselves. You are so missed, way too soon!!!! Blessed Be....

I dont know your family but I am so sorry for your loss. No child should feel he has no other choice. I have worked in EMS and now a funeral director. It always breaks my heart to hear these stories. May God find comfort for your family.

I have no words to express the hurt my family and I feel. Patrick was such a sweet boy and a very dear friend to my oldest son Tyler. We will remember the fun times the two of them shared. Patrick will be missed dearly but never forgotten. We will meet again.
