Peggy Lee Sego

Ms. Peggy Lee Sego, age 79, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Ms. Sego had worked in the meat and deli departments of several Kroger stores in the Louisville area.  She loved going to movies, but her joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Patrick William Sego and his wife Julie, Nashville, TN, Steven Sego and his wife Teri, Guston, KY and Samantha Benham and her husband Kelly, Brandenburg, KY; one sister, Polly Ann Curry, Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Brittany (Randy) Kelly, Brandon (Megan) Sego, Andria (Taylor) Winn, Steven Taylor (Annie) Benham, Tanner (Jessica Jett) Benham, Patrick Sego, Jr., Michael Sego, Wynonna Sego and Amanda Sego; nine Great Grandchildren; and her special friend, Edith Darnall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Paddack, Rev. Sylvia Baker-Norem and Brother Gary Benham officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
