Perry Kent Hardesty

     Mr. Perry Kent Hardesty, age 63, Leitchfield, KY, formerly of Battletown, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Owensboro Regional Medical Center.  He was born March 25, 1958, the son of Verlin Anthony and Beatrice Marie (Allen) Hardesty.  Perry was a member of Teamsters Local 227.  He loved the outdoors in general, but especially loved to fish and hunt.

     Perry was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters.  He is survived by three children, Doug (Tracy) Hardesty, Albert (Selena) Hardesty and Crystal (Craig) Hardesty; 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Madalynn, James, Chelsey, Haley, Ashley, Aaron, Allen, Jazmine, Serenity, Brittania and Dakota; his brother, Phillip (Barbara Gayle) Hardesty; and numerous nieces and nephews.     

    Perry’s visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2021.  Cremation will follow the visitation.
