Phillip Anthony Hardesty Obituary

Mr. Phillip Anthony Hardesty, age 74, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 27, 1948, the son of Verlin Anthony and Beatrice Marie (Allen) Hardesty. Phillip was a member of the National Labor Union Local 576. He loved horses and spending time with his family, especially the grand and great grandchildren.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Johnny, James, Glen and Perry Hardesty; and seven sisters, Janet Curl, Erma Hardesty, Dorisey Keith, Peggy Bennett, Sue Moss, Regina Hayes and Joy Meeks. Mr. Hardesty is survived by his wife, Barbara Gayle (Bishoff) Hardesty; two children, Shannon (Ron) Vallandingham and Bruce (Pebbles) Hardesty; four granddaughters, Destiny (Jake) Early, Brianna (Donny) Ashford, Abby (Tyler) Hall and Erica Hardesty; and nine great grandchildren, Jackson, Josie, Henley, Hadley, Nova, Cannon, Kimber, Colt and Braxton.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Stanley Turner officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
