Quante Zahair Hardy

Mr. Quante Zahair Hardy, age 17, of Louisville, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, with his loving parents at his side.

            He was born on a bright sunny day in April 2002.  The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.  So, it’s no surprise that his smile was always bright!  He loved to play chess with Malik and Quincy and football with his twin brother Quincy following in the footsteps of his big brother, Qudrine.  He shared plenty of good times with his oldest brother, Malik and the bond with his big sister, Rajah was undeniable and close.  He was a loving brother to his two little sisters, Nylah and Damonique.  Quante attended church with his Grandmother, Martha Hardy and was baptized at Highland Park Baptist Church under the leadership of the Pastor, Rev. Byron Cox.

            Quante was preceded in death by his grandfather and his uncle, Darren Clarkson.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Sheila Hardy and Ronald Lee O'Bannon; his brothers and sisters, Rajah Hardy, Malik Brooks, Qudrine Hardy, Quincy Hardy – his twin brother, Da’Nylah Grinnich, Damonique Ward and Jakobi Hardy; his niece and nephew, Ja’Ceon Simmons and Kennedi Philpot; and his grandparents, Charles and Martha Hardy and Cynthia Moore.  He also leaves uncles, aunts, cousins and friends to remember him lovingly.

            Funeral Services and visitation will be held privately for Quante’s immediate family, due to health concerns.  The service will be streamed on the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.  A private burial will be held at Guston Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.hagerfuneralhome.com.
