Ray Counterman, Sr. Obituary

Ray T. Counterman, Sr., 87 went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 30, 2020, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was retired United States Navy, a Veteran of the Korean War, and spent many years employed by the National Park Service. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW Post #5831 in Hardinsburg.

Mr. Counterman was preceded in death by his loving wife, Glenda Counterman; his parents, Joseph Counterman and Elowise Rogers; his two daughters, Gale Logsdon and Deborah Withrow; two brothers, Kenneth and Eugene; and two sisters, Carlene Mobley and Wanda Mehler; and also by his special friend, JoAnne. He is survived by his son, Ray Counterman of Charles City, VA, his daughter, Alicia Boardman and husband of Millersville, MD and son-in-law, Leonard "Bubby" Withrow of Chesapeake, VA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
