Obituary

     Mr. Raymond Leslie Bryant, age 77, of Garrett, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. 

     Raymond was born April 24, 1943 in Meade County, Kentucky to Estill R. and Grace Bryant.  Prior to his retirement, he worked at Louisville Gas and Electric for more than thirty years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Ekron Baptist Church.

     Raymond is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Garrett; his two sons, Paul D. Bryant, Lexington, South Carolina, Michael L. Bryant, and his wife, Amy, Summerville, South Carolina; his four grandchildren, Abby, Joseph, Lydia and Anna Bryant, all of Summerville, South Carolina; and his brother, Phillip Bryant, Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Nathan, William, Louise, Sylvia and James Moman.

     In-person funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday,  September 5, 2020, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Thomas Curry officiating.  The service will also be streamed online on the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will follow at North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, Kentucky.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society online at www.cancer.org.
