Mr. Richard Wayne “Ricky” Roberts, age 64, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Ricky was born April 12, 1956, in Brandenburg, the son of Joe Edward and Della Kay (Chism) Roberts. He was a die-hard University of Kentucky sports fan and he loved farming, fishing and riding 4 wheelers. Ricky was also a 40+ year member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge and a Kentucky Colonel.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Mary Ruth and Eddie Bissinger and Randolph and Alma Chism. He is survived by two brothers, Larry Joe Roberts and his wife, Susan, and David Roberts; two nieces, Amanda Pertuis and her husband, Derek, and Eilene Madden; two nephews, Larry (Ralph) Roberts and Jordan Roberts; four great nieces, Maci Pertuis, Kaylee and Lexie Glisson, and Emma Madden; two aunts, Kathy Brandenburg and her husband, Tom, and Pat Roberts; his sister-in-law, Angie Smith; and his beloved dog, Peggy Sue.

Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hager Funeral Home.
