Robert Andrew "Bob" Keys, Sr.

       Mr. Robert Andrew “Bob” Keys, Sr., age 79, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, at his residence.  He was born March 19, 1942, the son of Jesse Edward “Jack” and Anna Ruth (Pusey) Keys.  Bob was a longtime member of Rock Haven Baptist Church.  He loved camping, fishing and collecting tractors and marbles. 

       Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert A. “Andy” Keys, Jr.; his great grandson, Colton Blain; and two brothers, Sam and Joey Keys.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia “Pat” Keys; two children, David Anthony Keys and his wife, Susie, and Melissa Ann Keys Thompson and her husband, Bill; five grandchildren, Brittany, Leslie, Amie, Tyler and Natalie; nine great grandchildren, Addison, Gavin, Lucas, Logan, Parker, Sophie, Aiden, Chevy and Cheyenne; his daughter-in-law, Gwen Keys; his brother, David (Roberta) Keys; and his sister, Rosemary (Ronnie) Holston; and many nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held privately for Bob’s family and close friends.  Public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Per the family’s request, masks should be worn, and social distancing observed during the visitation.  Burial will take place in Garnettsville Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
