Roger Oakes Obituary

Mr. Roger Dale Oakes, age 64, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Roger operated Oakes Plumbing and Highlift Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Most importantly, Roger loved the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Oakes and a brother, Randy Wayne Oakes. Roger is survived by his precious mother, Lucille Oakes, Greensburg, KY; his loving girlfriend, Rosie Carroll, Ekron, KY; a step son, Matt Wise, Brandenburg, KY; a special granddaughter, Baby Girl; a grandson, Will; and three sisters, Sue Reesor and her husband, Jim, Ekron, KY, Sheila Brown, Vine Grove, KY and Brenda Dile, Greensburg, KY.

In honoring Roger’s wishes, funeral services were privately held for his immediate family. Burial was in Garnettsville Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Hager Funeral Home.
